Darul Qaza not a parallel judicial system: Maulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani

Lucknow: Darul Qaza is not a parallel judicial system, rather it is a platform [in the Indian context] to facilitate mutual agreement and reconciliation, said eminent Islamic scholar Maulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani here in a programme on 16th March.

Addressing a gathering of intellectuals at Maulana Abdur Rashid Firangi Mahalli Hall, Maulana Rahmani, who is general secretary of Islamic Fiqh Academy, said, “Shariah touches every aspect of life, and in a country like India, it is our duty to resolve all our problems like Nikah and Talaq in accordance with Shariah.” The programme on ‘Importance of Darul Qada’ was organized under the auspices of Islamic Center of India.

Maulana Rahmanih said the roots of family problems of Muslims were so intricately tied with the religion that it was impossible to think about any solution to them by detaching them with Deen (religion).
