Chennai : Virender Sehwag scored his career’s second triple century here Friday, on the third day of the first Test against South Africa at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium.
Sehwag (41x4s, 5x6s), resuming at his overnight score of 52, completed his triple century off a single off pacer Makhaya Ntini in the third and final session of the day. His first triple century – also India’s first – had come against Pakistan in Multan March 29, 2004.
