Agartala : At least seven people were killed and 14 injured in Tripura Thursday morning when a jeep and a car collided head-on.
A police spokesperson said the accident took place near Bishalgarh, 25 km from here.
"Seven people died on the spot. The 14 injured where shifted to the hospital, some of them are in a serious condition," he said.
The car was carrying a patient, who was also killed, while the jeep was packed with people coming from a marriage ceremony.
