BJP cadres ransack BSNL office in Chhattisgarh

Raipur : Dozens of youth wing activists of Chhattisgarh’s ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Thursday ransacked the office of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) here, accusing the public sector telecom company of deliberately providing poor networking services and false billings.

Activists of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), led by its state president Sanjay Srivastava, held protest demonstration in front of the BSNL office located at Khamhardeeh area while a few youth stormed into the building and ransacked furniture and other belongings of the BSNL.

The slogan-shouting protesters threatened to step up drive against the officials for deliberately blocking BSNL local network to benefit private rivals, black-marketing SIM cards and raising false bills against subscribers.
