Kuwait : Number of nominees who registered for the National Assembly (NA) elections reached 112, including five females, by 11:30 a.m. Monday.
Interior Undersecretary for Legal Affairs Major General Khalid Al-Osaimi toured the headquarters for administration of electoral affairs and said that the ministry would do its best to ensure that the registration process would proceed smoothly.
He added that the interior ministry executes the Cabinet’s decisions regarding the elections and advertisement law.
The Interior Ministry is coordinating with the Municipality on monitoring the electoral ads.
