Gaza : Fatah’s Aqsa Martyrs’s Brigades claimed responsibility, Wednesday, for a raid on Sofa Crossing Tuesday night.
A statement said Aqsa operatives fired an Aqsa rocket on Sofa checkpoint, northern Rafah.
Local radio stations in Gaza said that an Israeli combat helicopter fired, this morning, a rocket on an open area near Wadi Gaza, adjacent to Buraij Camp, causing no casualties.
The radios added that the helicopter was possibly targeting Palestinian militants, coinciding with mortar bombardment of the northern outskirts of Al-Buraij Camp which destroyed a number of houses and injured a Palestinian and his daughter.
Islamic Jihad’s Quds Brigades meanwhile stated it fired nine missiles towards southern Israel, saying that seven of them targeted Sderot while the other two targeted Majdal in northern Israel.
