India’s central bank hikes cash reserve ratio again, keeps key rates same

Mumbai : The Reserve Bank of India hiked the cash reserve ratio (CRR) by 25 basis points to 8.25 percent in its monetary policy announced Tuesday morning, while keeping the repo rates and reverse repo rate unchanged, in an effort to keep inflation down to 4-4.45 percent.
