Mumbai Indians, who are reeling at the bottom of the points table, will take on the in-form Delhi Daredevils at the D.Y. Patil Stadium here Sunday.

Speaking to the media, Pollock said there was a strong possibility that Tendulkar would not play against Daredevils, though the final decision would only be taken Sunday morning.

“Though we are still not sure about him being available for tomorrow, it looks like he might even miss Wednesday’s match. We are looking at him getting fit for the May 14 match,” Pollock told reporters.

The South African pacer added that the news was disappointing for the team who had expected Tendulkar to lead from the front in the sixth game and said the support staff is working hard to help Tendulkar recover from his groin injury.

About their match against a formidable Daredevils side, Pollock said the team was riding high on confidence after notching their first win against the Kolkatta Knight Riders.

When asked about any special strategy for Sunday’s match, Pollock said Mumbai Indians’ bowlers were hoping to get some early wickets to expose the opponents’ middle order, which has not really been tested so far.
