Mumbai : The Indian equities markets continued to trade flat early Wednesday afternoon due to selling pressure across key sectors.
At 12.30 p.m., the 30-share benchmark index of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), the Sensex, was down 21.11 points or 0.12 percent to 17,351.90. It had hit a high of 17,413.81 in early trade. At the day’s low it touched 17,266.19 points.
At the same time the broader based S&P CNX Nifty of the National Stock Exchange was down by 6.00 points or 0.12 percent to 5,138.65.
On BSE, 1,335 shares advanced, 1,116 declined and 82 remained unchanged.
