Hyderabad : Kolkata Knight Riders beat Deccan Chargers by 23 runs in an Indian Premier League match here Sunday.
The Knight Riders scored 204/4, with Sourav Ganguly playing an explosive knock of 91 off 57 balls, before restricting Deccan Chargers to 181/7.
For Deccan Chargers, Venugopal Rao blasted 71 runs off 42 balls while Rohit Sharma contributed 33. Ashok Dinda (3/33) and Ganguly (2/25) were the main wicket-takers for the Knight Riders.
