Gurgaon : The Gurgaon district administration Monday said it would annul the ration cards of those who employ children.
Deputy Labour Commissioner Manorama Rana at a meeting with Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Gupta and other officers said the new instruction should be implemented strictly.
“If any person violates this instruction, besides prosecuting him under Prevention of Child Labour Act, his ration card may also get cancelled,” Rana said.
She directed the district food and supply controller to oversee the whole process.
