Sharm El-Sheikh : Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and King Abdullah II of Jordan held talks here Sunday on regional issues, on the sidelines of the upcoming World Economic Forum.
The two leaders discussed the Middle East peace process, the situation in Iraq and Darfur, and the security of the Gulf region, in addition to the latest Lebanese developments and the negotiations of different Lebanese groups held in Qatar.
King Abdullah met here Sunday with US President George W. Bush and is scheduled to give a speech at the opening session of the World Economic Forum (WEF) that will kick off here later Sunday.
King Abdullah and Bush are among 12 leaders visiting Egypt to take part in the WEF.
