Mumbai : The Indian equities markets opened with a positive gap Tuesday, tracking strong markets elsewhere in Asia.
The 30-share benchmark index of the Bombay Stock Exchange, the Sensex, opened with a gain of 87.10 points at 16,454.75.
The S&P Nifty index of the National Stock Exchange opened at 4,877.15 points with a marginal gain of 2.10 points from its previous close.
