Kabul : A US service member was killed in southeastern Afghanistan, said a military statement released from coalition forces’ Bagram base on Tuesday. “A coalition service member was killed in a non-combat-related injury today in Paktika province,” said the brief statement.
The name and nationality of the service member is being withheld pending notification of next of kin, said the statement, adding that the incident was being investigated by the military.
