Islamabad : More than 10 persons were killed and several wounded in latest clashes between rival groups in Pakistans tribal area, bordering Afghanistan, said police.

Clashes erupted between rival groups in Orakzai tribal agency on Monday over land dispute, citing police sources local media reports said Tuesday.

They said latest clashes in the tribal area left more than 10 dead and several wounded.

Sources said paramilitary troopers have been called in to maintian peace and law and order situation in the region.
