Beijing : A news report says the death toll from torrential rains that hit southern China has risen to 50.
The official Xinhua News Agency said Wednesday that rains are predicted to continue for the next three days.
Xinhua says 36 people have died in flash floods in southern Guizhou province since Sunday. Fourteen others died in four other provinces and 26 were missing.
