London : The Indian terror suspect fighting for his life after the attempted car bombing at Glasgow airport has been moved to a specialist burns unit Friday, health officials said.
Kafeel Ahmed, 27, doused himself in petrol and set light to himself in the attack last Saturday.
He is thought to have been the driver of the Jeep Cherokee that burst into flames as it was rammed into the terminal building.
Ahmed was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in nearby Paisley suffering from 90 per cent burns.
Health officials in Scotland said Friday he had been transferred to a specialist unit at Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
Ahmed, who has also been known as Khalid Ahmed, has been kept under armed guard and was described as still being in a critical condition.
