Stanford (California) : After making a first round exit in the singles of the Bank of West Classic tennis tournament, India’s Sania Mirza has bowed out of the doubles event as well.
Sania, partnering Russian Anna Chakvetadze, went down 6-3, 6-4 to Czech duo Eva Hrdinova and Vladimira Uhlirova here Wednesday.
Sania, who is struggling with her form since her wrist surgery, lost in straight sets to British qualifier Anne Keothavongn in the singles Tuesday night.
