New Delhi: These blasts are being carried out in a planned way by destructive forces so that peace and communal harmony could be harmed and they could achieve their sinister targets, said Maulana Mahmood Madani, MP and leader of Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind (JUH) in Ahmedabad on 27th July.

Maulana Madani was addressing a press conference there after visiting blast-hit areas. He also visited hospitals where injured are being treated and consoled the victims and their relatives. He was leading a JUH delegation.

To discuss the blast issue and its fallout, he met Gujarat Governor Naval Kishore Sharma and senior officials of the district administration. He demanded a fair and impartial enquiry into the blasts in which about 50 people were killed and more than 100 injured.

There should not be any space for such inhuman and dastardly acts, he said. He said all people cutting across caste, creed and political line will have to be united to combat terrorism, the destructive forces and to ensure that real culprits are brought to justice. He called upon people to maintain peace and harmony. This will sabotage the real purpose of the culprits and destructive forces.
