European Union condemns terror attacks in India

Brussels : The European Union (EU) has condemned the terror attacks in Bangalore and Ahmedabad in the “strongest possible terms”, EuAsiaNews reported Monday.

A statement Sunday by the EU Presidency, which is currently being held by France, said the “European Union was deeply shocked to learn of the terrorist attacks” and expressed its solidarity with India.

The 27-member organisation offered its heartfelt sympathy to the government and people of India and to the victims and their families and reaffirmed its determination to stand alongside the Indian government in the fight against the scourge of terrorism.
