Saudi Public Campaign to build 20 Schools in Pakistan

Islamabad : The Campaign also provided financial assistance to many charitable institutions including its grant of $2million to UNICEF to build five health units in the affected areas and $2 million to World Food Programme (WFP) to buy flour sacs and distributed them to the affected families.

The campaign provided financial help to Kashmiri education and rural development institution for the purchase of educational materials and stationery to be distributed to school students in the affected areas. The Campaign constructed temporary schools in the region and Qutli Satayan town involving an expenditure of half a million U.S. dollars.

In its future projects, the campaign intends to build 3,000 ready-made houses in Kashmir in addition to construction of many schools and mosques as well as five health units.
