New Delhi : United Progressive Alliance (UPA) presidential candidate Pratibha Patil Saturday met Congress legislators of the Delhi assembly ahead of the July 19 election.
Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, who accompanied Patil during her campaign, assured her of the support of all the MLAs and MPs from Delhi of the party.
The Congress has a strength of 48 in the 70-member assembly with ally Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) having one.
The opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has 19 members with one seat belonging to Janata Dal-Secular and one to an independent candidate.
