Dubai : Three Indians were arrested here for allegedly killing a fellow Indian worker last week.
Dubai police’s Criminal Investigation Department (CID) arrested Rambabu Rashokanda, Prasad Dosambody and Jobi Madala Monday for having allegedly murdered an Indian worker July 12.
According to the police, the three men have confessed that they along with the victim were heavily drunk on the day of the crime. There was a misunderstanding, which resulted in a fight. They hit the victim with a wooden stick and he died instantly. The suspects then dragged the victim’s body and put it under a parked bus to make it look like a hit-and-run case, the Gulf News reported.
The three Indians have been charged with murder and have been referred to the public prosecutor for further investigations. The CID team also reportedly recovered the murder weapon from the men.
