Istanbul : A bomb blew up in the city of Izmir on Thursday wounding 16 people including policemen and military soldiers, the local news network “NTV” reported.
The bomb blew up close to a police patrol car and a military vehicle moving on a main highway. The explosion wounded eight policemen, three soldiers and five civilians.
Officials accused Kurdish ativists of being behind the bloody incident.
