We are now planning to extend our reach to marginalized communities in other parts of India, principally Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal. This will of course be done in phases.
To begin with, we are planning to establish a Centre at Bokaro, Jharkhand. This place has been identified both out of convenience and also due to absolute poverty in this area. This Centre will work in tandem with a minority girls school located in an underdeveloped area called Muslim Mohalla in an otherwise advanced town of Bokaro Steel City. The students studying in this school come from poorest of the poor families. Most students work as domestic helps along with their studies. The project aims to identify students at Class 8 level. These students generally drop out from school at this stage or perform very poorly due to non-academic atmosphere at home, and burden of domestic work.
The Centre will be developed on the pattern of Ismat Literacy Centre, AMU. It will provide tuition/coaching and vocational training towards skill development and employment.
The establishment and running cost of this project for one year is Rs.4 lakhs.

Provided 2 million meals in grains and 245,000 cooked meals during Ramadan.
Provided emergency relief in Muzaffarnager with food, medicine and clothing.
Began school/masjid construction in 12 new Project REED sites.
14,735 patients were seen and treated for eye diseases; 8,206 were found to have eye problems
Performed 432 cataract surgeries with lens implant free of cost, giving vision back to the nearly blind.
Provided 2,763 dialysis sessions; 726 of them were free of cost; rest were at low cost.
Provided 3,042 dialysis sessions; 969 of them were free of cost.
