The Election Commission has announced that the 2014 Assembly Elections in Jammu and Kashmir will be held in five phases between November 25 and December 20, and votes will be counted on December 23.
Last date for filing nominations:
Phase 1: Nov 5, 2014, Phase 2: Nov 14, 2014, Phase 3: Nov 21, 2014, Phase 4: Nov 26, 2014, Phase 5: Dec 3, 2014.
Last date for withdrawing candidature:
Phase 1: Nov 10, 2014, Phase 2: Nov 17, 2014, Phase 3: Nov 24, 2014, Phase 4: Nov 29, 2014, Phase 5:Dec 6, 2014.
Voting to be held on:
Phase 1: Nov 25, 2014, Phase 2: Dec 2, 2014, Phase 3: Dec 9, 2014,Phase 4: Dec 14, 2014, Phase 5: Dec 20, 2014.
Votes to be counted on:
