Social necessities bring Hindu-Muslim leaders on one platform

Lucknow: Seeds of social necessities germinated during the meeting of leaders of two religions—Hindus and Muslims on Saturday in Lucknow. The leaders had consensus that the country should have more public toilets so that females do not have to defacate in open and environment is not polluted.

Swami Chidanand Saraswati, during his Clean Gomti Campaign reached Lucknow from Rishikesh. During this he met Dr Kalbe Sadiq, the Vice President of All India Muslim Personal Law Board. The meeting place was Unity College at Hussainabad in old city of Lucknow.

Swami Chidanand Saraswati said that country had too many mandir and masjid. Now there is a need of public toilets so that crores of people mainly females are benefitted and they need not get embarassed by defacating and bathing in open. Saraswati claimed that it is a bigger problem than Mandir-Masjid but no one pays attention. He stressed again for more public toilets. Kalbe Sadiq also expressed his concern and consent over the issue. Sadiq claimed that life has become difficult due to pollution.

Kalbe Sadiq stated that the time has come when the followers of Hazrat Ali and Hari should come together and promote – Hariyali (greenery). He stated that there should be such an atmosphere that greenery is seen everywhere and country gets rid of pollution.
