DGP reviews Mehraj-ul-Alam arrangements in Hazratbal

Srinagar : Director General of Police, Kuldeep Khoda along with IGP Kashmir S.M.Sahai today paid obeisance at Hazratbal Shrine and reviewed security and traffic arrangements made by the Police on the eve of Mehraj-ul-Alam.

Besides others IGP Security, Ashok Gupta, DIG CKR Farooq Ahmed, SSP Srinagar S.A.Mujtaba, SSP Traffic and SP Hazratbal were also present of the occasion.

Khoda was briefed in detail about the Security arrangements made by Police during Mehraj-ul-Alam celebrations. He also gave some instructions regarding security and stressed that a helping hand should be forwarded by Police during the celebrations.

SSP Traffic also briefed DGP about the various traffic arrangements made by Police during the celebrations including traffic regulation and parking facilities.

DGP also visited the Medical and First-Aid camps established by the J&K Police at Hazratbal and also gave some instructions to the medical and Para-medical staff at the camp.

He also visited the office of SP Hazratbal where he was briefed about the security arrangements made for the sighting of “Holy Relic”.

Later he along with IGP Kashmir and other officers also visited Hazratbal shrine and paid obeisance at the shrine.
