Riyadh : The Gulf Workshop on “Health Research Priorities” was inaugurated here yesterday in the presence of Dr Obeid Suleiman Al-Obeid, the Under Secretary of the Health Ministry for planning and development.
The workshop is organized by the Executive Bureau of the Council of the GCC Health Ministers in cooperation with the Health Ministry and the World Health Organization’s (WHO) Middle East regional bureau.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Tawfiq Khoja, the Director General of the Executive Bureau of the Council of the GCC Health Ministers, expressed appreciation for hosting the workshop by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
He underscored the important role of researches in the development of the health sector.
