The four-day summit, in its second year, is expected to provide a platform to discuss and deliberate the factors of growth in the sector. Several domestic as well as international players will be participating, including the US, Italy, China, Korea, Taiwan and Singapore.

Leading telecom players such as Bharti Airtel, Vodafone, Idea and Reliance Communications will take part though they are currently at loggerheads with the government over the issue of allocation of radio frequencies.

The event, to be held in the Pragati Maidan fair grounds, will also have separate sessions on broadband, value added services industry, and most importantly on how the growth of the sector can be taken to rural India.
