New Delhi : Three policemen including an officer have been killed in a Naxal attack on Bishrampur Police station of Bastar district in Central Indian state of Chhattisgarh.
An assistance sub-inspector and two head constables were killed on the spot while another constable was seriously injured in the attack, Indian national TV news portal reported here quoting Bastar Range Inspector General of Police, Rajinder Kumar Vij.
“Over 50 armed Naxalites came in four vehicles to Bishrampur Police station on Wednesday night and opened indiscriminate fire and then triggered multiple landmine blasts,” he said.
