Kuwait : Index of the national bourse, after being lackluster in post-eid trading early on Monday, picked up heat shortly later in the session posting a rise of 59.7 points, reaching the level of 12,371.2 points.
Volume of the traded shares has amounted to 98.5 million, valued at 53 million dinars for up to 2,939 spot transactions.
The KSE index reflected limited activity early on Monday, following the week-long Al-Adha eid, with the price index posting a rise of 14.1 points, where the level stood at 12,327 points. Volume of traded shares amounted to 3.
2 million, valued at three million Kuwaiti dinars, for up to 160 spot transactions.
Upon start of the Al-Adha holiday on December 17, the KSE index ended trading at an up of 25.1 points, reading 12,312.9 points. Volume came to 157.5 million shares, traded in 4,908 deals, worth KD 106 million.
The index of the national bourse has been within the range of the 12,000 points, lower than the recently-posted robust level of 13,000 points.
