Mumbai : Indian stock markets rose for the fifth straight session Wednesday amid volatile trades throughout the day.
The 30-share sensitive index (Sensex) of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) closed at 20,216.72 points, up 24 points or 0.12 percent.
The broader 50-share S&P CNX Nifty index of the National Stock Exchange closed at 6,081.50 points, up 11 points or 0.18 percent.
