Islamabad : Former Pakistan prime minister Benazir Bhutto was assassinated Thursday in an attack by a suicide bomber, a military official said.
Bhutto, leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), was killed at an election rally in the garrison town of Rawalpindi, Geo TV reported.
