Bhopal, July 2: India's giant Public Sector Undertaking Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. (BHEL), Bhopal community today observed Production Day. On 1st July, 1960 the first batch of the trainees completed their training and production in the factory began on that very day.        Â

To commemorate this event, BHEL employees take production pledge every year on 1st July.

BHEL, Bhopal, mother unit of BHEL, is also the first electrical equipment manufacturing company in India which has played a commendable role in the growth of Madhya Pradesh as well as India.
