BHEL Bhopal training Libyan engineers

Bhopal : In India's giant Public Sector Undertaking Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, (BHEL), Bhopal unit, a training program for 2nd batch of Engineers from Tripoli West Power Station from M/s. General Electric Company was inaugurated at Human Resource Development Centre, (HRDC) here on Saturday.
   
An official BHEL Press release said that the training is being imparted to young engineers from M/s. GECOL, Libya over a period of time to acquaint them with BHEL made electric equipments and understand the vivid maintenance aspects of Power Stations. 
   
BHEL, Bhopal had supplied 120 MW sets to Libya for more than 25 years ago and recently spares have been supplied for these sets and 1 unit has been overhauled.
   
The training at Bhopal Unit will be for two weeks which will focus on turbine, Generator, motor, switchgear and transformer and for one week at Trichi Unit in Boiler and auxiliaries. The training is being organized by Thermal System Engineering department, the release added. ([email protected])
