The House unanimously passed a condolence resolution and observed two-minute silence in memory of those killed in the terror attack.

"This House places on record its deep sense of sorrow for persons killed in the blast and convey deep sense of sympathy to the bereaved families of those killed in the blast and who passed away in incidents that day," said the resolution without directly referring to the police firing.

Nine people were killed in the bomb blast during Friday prayers at the 17th century mosque. A couple of hours after the blast, five people died in police firing on a violent mob protesting against the terror attack.

While the house was adjourned after paying tributes to former prime minister Chandra Shekhar on the first day of the monsoon session, no business could be done Tuesday due to a protest by Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) demanding implementation of the Sacchar Committee's recommendations.

Meanwhile, MIM, which has five legislators in the 294-member assembly, has demanded the release of all innocent Muslim youths arrested in connection with the Mecca masjid blast.

MIM leader in assembly Akbaruddin Owaisi told newsmen that the police have failed to nab the culprits even two months after the blast while innocent people have been arrested.

Owaisi also urged the government to expedite the judicial probe ordered into the police firing.
