Srinagar : A grenade hurled by militants at a paramilitary troop bunker in the city's Lal Chowk area missed the target and exploded on the road Friday afternoon. Police claimed there was no damage in the blast, but eyewitnesses said one civilian was injured.
The grenade was hurled at a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) bunker outside a Hanuman temple at around 3.30 p.m. It exploded around 200 metres away from the state legislative assembly complex where a two-day summer session was in progress.
