Baghdad : At least six people were killed and 12 injured in twin car bombings in central Baghdad Monday, an official said.
Two booby-trapped cars parked at two locations in Baghdad's Karradah neighbourhood detonated in quick succession, the official said.
One of the attacks was carried out near a police headquarters in Karradah neighbourhood and the other close to a market in the same area.
Daily bombings, gun fighting and kidnappings continue in Baghdad despite a five-month-old US-Iraqi security plan designed to put down insurgency and sectarian violence in the Iraqi capital.
