Efforts intensified to make MP Educational Hub: CM

Bhopal, June 7: Office-bearers of Management Development Institute, (MDI), Singapore called on the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan here today. The minister for health and family welfare Ajay Vishnoi was also present on the occasion.
   
The secretary general of the institute Dr. R. Thevendra informed the Chief Minister Chouhan that training activities in the field of technical education, information technology, health education and management are being carried out by the institute in nine countries with the co-operation of different universities. A project has been prepared by the institute to establish training institute in Bhopal and Jabalpur and approximately 500 students would be benefited annually after the inception of the institute. Dr. Thevendra also informed Chouhan about the activities of the institute in detail.
   
Chouhan assured the MDI office-bearers about the government cooperation and said that the institutions were invited by him for investment in Madhya Pradesh during his visit to Singapore. The state government would provide land at the confessional rate and other facilities for investment in other fields including education. He said that efforts are being intensified to make Madhya Pradesh, the Educational Hub. He appreciated the initiative of MDI to develop training campus in the state.  
   
The Principal Secretary Technical Education Raghavchandra, Principal Secretary Higher Education Mrs.Snehlata Shrivastava, executive consultant of MDI Kumar, Director Raju, country manager Ms Shaila D. and country representative Manish Tripathi were present on the occasion.
