Pakistan Air Force jet crashes

Islamabad : A Pakistan Air Force (PAF) jet crashed near the northern city of Peshawar Friday, TV channels reported.

Two pilots of the jet fighter FT6 ejected safely, Geo television quoted a PAF spokesman as saying.

The fighter plane was on a routine flight when it came down seven km south of Peshawar, the spokesman said.No casualties or damage on the ground were reported.

The spokesman said the plane might have developed some technical fault. However, an inquiry has been ordered.
