Jerusalem : Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Palestinian National Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas will meet at a four-way summit in Egypt next week, Israel's Army Radio reported Thursday.
The report said the summit would be held in the Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh in Sinai Monday, with Jordanian King Abdullah II, Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak along with the Israeli and Palestinian leaders.
During the summit, the leaders will discuss ways to strengthen an emergency government set up by Abbas' Fatah movement in the West Bank, as well as how to deal with Hamas in Gaza, said the radio.
Olmert and Abbas were supposed to meet two weeks ago, but the meeting was later postponed.
Last week, an intense infighting erupted between rival Fatah and Hamas movements in Gaza.
In the wake of the Hamas' violent takeover of the Gaza Strip, Abbas sacked the unity government and installed an emergency government in the West Bank city of Ramallah.
