Beirut : Hezbollah said Wednesday the formation of a national unity government was the only way out of the current crisis in Lebanon.
Hezbollah, through its parliamentary al-Wafa Resistance bloc, said in a statement that all parties should unconditionally approve the formation of the national unity government which reflected "a genuine partnership in national political decision."
The bloc, meanwhile, condemned the attack against the Spanish forces working with the UN troops in southern Lebanon which left six soldiers dead and three others wounded.
It also regretted the failure of Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa to bridge the gaps between the Lebanese forces to resume dialogue.
Lebanese political forces are facing a standoff in the past several months in which politicians traded insults and their supporters clashed in the streets.
The disputes of the pro-government majority and Hezbollah-led opposition concentrated on a host of issues, including the weapons of Hezbollah, the international tribunal on the assassination of former premier Rafik Hariri and the national unity government.
