Tewari, a rookie from Bengal, suffered the injury on his right shoulder when he dived full length during a fielding session Tuesday.

Captain Rahul Dravid, however, said it was not a serious injury.

"He got injured while practising but it is not a serious injury," Dravid said.

After hurting himself, Tewari withdrew from the net session and was attended to by physiotherapist John Gloster, who gave him ice treatment.

Earlier in the conditioning camp in Kolkata, Sachin Tendulkar had twisted his ankle while Dravid was hit on the nose by a Rudra Pratap Singh bouncer.

The first of the three one-dayers will be played Thursday and the other two on May 12 and 15.
