Chittagong : Left-arm pacer Rudra Pratap Singh, the best Indian bowler on display Monday, said that the team will go for a win on the fifth and final day of the first Test against Bangladesh Tuesday.

"A lot is left in this match and we will play for win tomorrow," R.P. Singh, who took three wickets for 45 in Bangladesh's first innings, told reporters after the fourth day.

India took a 149-run first innings lead and then made 44 for two in their second innings to take the overall advantage to 193. Sachin Tendulkar (24) and Dinesh Karthik (15) are at the crease.

"It all depends on how many runs we score tomorrow. We have bowled well. But we have full confidence that we can win the match tomorrow," said the Uttar Pradesh bowler.

"We have no intention to put ourselves under pressure and there is no special plan as such. We will go there and play our natural game."

R.P. Singh, 21, rocked the Bangladesh innings when he took two wickets in three balls of his third over to reduce them to 20 for two. His targets were Javed Omar and captain Habibul Bashar.

Then, along with pacer Vikram Raj Vir Singh, who took three for 48, R.P. Singh pulled down the Bangladesh innings to 149 for eight before Mashrafe Mortaza (79) and Shahadat Hossain (31) were involved in 77-run ninth-wicket stand that took their team to 238 all out.

"We are a bit disappointed that we let them off the hook after reducing them to 149 for eight. Let us see what will happen tomorrow," he rued.

R.P. Singh, who is playing his third Test, said that the pitch was a flat one so he concentrated on the line and length.

"I pitched in the right areas and length, and bowled different lengths for different batsmen. Things worked well for me today," he said.

R.P. Singh was initially not picked for the Test series, but was asked to stay back after Sreesanth injured his left calf and was sent back home for treatment.

It was his first Test after playing against Pakistan in Karachi in January last year.

"I have come back after while, so it was not easy for me. I have played in some domestic matches, Ranji Trophy and some other matches. But things fell in place for me today," said the bowler who is a product of the Lucknow Sports College.

"When I was out of the Indian team, coaches back in Lucknow gave me a lot of confidence and encouragement to stay positive. It has worked for me."
