New Delhi : There have been wage boards for journalists and non-journalists, but the government Monday added a fresh category of hacks: non-working journalists.
An official press release announcing the setting up of a wage board said the government had approved the nomination of five members "who will be common to both the Wage Boards for Working Journalists and Non-Working Journalists."
The question, remarked a journalist, was whether the new category was an oversight or a Freudian slip.
