Islamabad : At least five people were killed and 40 injured Thursday morning when a bus carrying air force employees was hit by a suicide attacker on a road in eastern Pakistani province of Punjab, according to media reports.
Police officer Wasim Khan was quoted as saying that the bus, on way to a radar system in Sargodha district, caught fire after being hit by a man on a bomb-rigged motorcycle.
At the time of explosion, a school bus was passing by the badly burned air force bus. There are reports that at least three children were injured.
The number of casualties is likely to increase.
