London : A huge plume of black smoke was seen rising over east London Monday noon and reports said a large fire broke out in the Stratford area.
The fire scene is close to a bus depot at Waterden Road, near the 2012 Olympic site, the Sky Television reported.
The fire brigade said that eight fire engines and 40 fire fighters had been sent to the scene. The fire brigade reported no casualties.
The Scotland Yard said that it did not believe the incident was terror-related.
The north London railway line has been closed between Dalston and Stratford because of the thick smoke.
