Madrid : Spanish football giant Real Madrid unveiled its private aeroplane to the media, carrying players to Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League match in Rome against Italian team Lazio.
The aircraft, nicknamed La Saeta (The Arrow), a twin-engine McDonnell Douglas 83, will also be used by Real Madrid’s basketball team, which frequently plays away games in the EuroLiga.
The club said the plane had been provided by Viajes Iberia, which agreed to reduce costs for the club in exchange for committing to the tour operator.
