Mumbai : Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Reliance Communications, HDFC Bank and NCDEX (National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange Ltd) won the Symantec Asia South visionary awards for protecting their IT infrastructure and information with the company’s anti-virus solutions and firewalls against hacking.
Presenting the awards to IT administrators of the winning firms at the Vision 2007 summit here Thursday, Symantec Corp president, worldwide sales and marketing, Enrique Salem said the enterprises had demonstrated success by leveraging his company’s technology to protect their vital assets.
“As the global economy continues to expand and interactions become interconnected, companies have to take proactive measures to minimise exposure to risk,” said Salem.
